Abstract: The paper presents computer software for calculation and visualization
of magnetic field distribution in permanent magnet motors. The finite element method (FEM)
for calculation of magnetic field distribution has been used. Special attention has been
paid to the analysis of systems with inhomogeneously magnetized permanent magnets.
Brushless motors with radially and inhomogenously magnetized magnets have been compared.
